MILE team addresses biophysics-related scientific questions thanks to microfluidic technologies. We focus on the interplay between permeability, mechanical properties, and biological activity of tissues and cells. Applications range from the role of mechanics in cancer to filtration, and cell sorting in the blood.

Microvasculature on chip: deformation, permeation and immunomodulation of lymphatic and blood vessels

We study the barrier and immunomodulation functions of vascular tissues with organ-on-chip technologies.

We develop an original fluidic technology for measuring the mechanical properties of cell aggregates (micropipettes on a chip), fundamental to many biological processes.
