MECABIOFLUIDICS team addresses biophysics-related scientific questions thanks to microfluidic technologies. We focus on the interplay between permeability, mechanical properties, and biological activity of tissues and cells. Applications range from the role of mechanics in cancer to filtration, and cell sorting in the blood.

We develop microfluidic technologies for purifying cells and extracellular vesicles.

Mechanics of multicellular aggregates, and their interactions with nanoparticles

We develop an original fluidic technology for measuring the mechanical properties of cell aggregates (micropipettes on a chip), fundamental to many biological processes.
