Automatic control for linear systems (classical approach)
This course introduces automatic control of linear systems, more specifically LTI (linear time-invariant) systems. It introduces the fundamentals of the discipline with a classical approach, namely the frequential approach. This is based on the Laplace transform to represent dynamic systems with transfer functions. The course covers transfer functions and block diagrams, time and frequency responses, stability, feedback system analysis and the design of frequential controllers such as PIDs, phase lead/lag compensators.
Here are the slides of the different chapters (in french):
- Introduction
- System modeling
- Time and frequency responses
- Stability and performances of feedback systems
- Control system design
