The MOST team's research activities focus on the advanced design of integrated microwave and hybrid opto-microwave systems, in the fields of telecommunications, defense and space, with a particular attention on the generation, conversion, filtering and distribution of microwave and millimeter wave signals with high spectral purity.


Our studies use several platforms available in the laboratory, mainly the CAD platform and the "Microwave Characterization" platform.

SoC design: frequency synthesis

Frequency synthesis are essential functions in telecommunication systems from any standards. We're developing integrated analog and digital versions that go beyond the limits of today's synthesis, to open the way towards tomorrow's standards.

SoC design : millimeter-wave receivers

We develop innovative solutions based on the specific features offered by CMOS technologies to optimize mixer performance. These include the implementation of discrete-time analog systems, using sampling techniques or parallelizing series of N-path cells.

Circuits and Passive Systems using Innovative Integrated Technologies

The increasing frequency of wireless applications brings new challenges to radio architectures, which must overcome the increasing losses of the propagation channel, compensated by the orientation and focusing of the radiated electromagnetic wave.
