Frequency synthesis are essential functions in telecommunication systems from any standards. We're developing integrated analog and digital versions that go beyond the limits of today's synthesis, to open the way towards tomorrow's standards.

We are interested in the design of integrated frequency synthesis. These range from phase-locked loops to direct digital synthesis. Over the years, we have developed VCOs, phase/frequency detectors, integer and fractional-ratio frequency dividers, based on CMOS and BiCMOS technologies. For some years now, we have been focusing on synthesis based on the division of high quality optoelectronic references (COEO : Coupled Opto-Electronic Oscillator), and on fractional digital regenerative frequency-division synthesis techniques.
