Clean rooms are very energy-intensive.
Since 2018, many actions have been taken to reduce the energy consumption of the LAAS clean room.
The result: this work, coupled with that of building A, enabled a gain of nearly 40% in electricity and even more in gas!

Electricity supply is likely to be tense this winter (nuclear power plants shut down, no gas, drought and therefore little hydro-electricity...).
We must expect tense days on the electrical network, days that will depend on the weather.

RTE has therefore put online a tool "EcoWatt" https://www.monecowatt.fr/ which allows to monitor the load of the electrical network and to act accordingly...

Unplug your chargers when not in use

A charger left plugged in “empty” to a power outlet, that is to say when it is not connected to a device (mobile phone, computer, etc.), still consumes electricity. although this consumption is very low.

Changing LAAS luminaires

December 2020 to March 2021, building A: replacement of the old luminaires by dimmable LEDs fitted with adapted controls and presence detectors.
