The GDR MACS at the heart of the development of tomorrow's decision-making systems.
The major MACS 2025 autumn seminar will be held on October 15 and 16 at Sorbonne Université's International Conference Center, on the Pierre et Marie Curie campus, and will focus on learning and dynamic systems.

The MACS GDR is coordinated by Dimitri Peaucelle, CNRS Research Director at the Systems Analysis and Architecture Laboratory (LAAS-CNRS), Gülgün Alpan, Professor at the Grenoble Polytechnic Institute and member of the Grenoble Science for Design, Optimization and Production Laboratory (G-SCOP - CNRS/Université Grenoble Alpes) and Romain Postoyan, CNRS Research Director at the CRAN (CNRS/Université de Lorraine), and contributes to the development of decision-making systems.
The major MACS seminar for autumn 2025 will take place on October 15 & 16 at Sorbonne Université's Centre International de Conférences: a unique opportunity to bring together the machine learning and learning communities.
The theme of this event will be “Learning and dynamic systems”, and will encourage exchanges on learning and the activities of the GdR MACS, in particular around 4 main themes:
- Foundations of learning
- Data-based control and analysis
- Identification, diagnosis and learning
- Scheduling, planning and learning
