Analysis of nonlinear systems

This course focuses on a much more general class of systems than the classical LTI systems: nonlinear systems. Unlike the linear case, the diversity of non-linear models implies that there are no generic methodologies suitable to deal with all models in such a class. In this course, we present methods for analyzing the behavior (state trajectory) and stability of such systems. An introduction to state feedback stabilization, in particular the backstepping control design method, is also given.
