On May 22, 2025, Matthieu Laidet, a doctoral student in theESE team, CIFRE EDF, supervised by Alexandre Boyer and Sonia Ben Dhia, was awarded the prize for best student paper at the Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC 2025), in Taipei (Taiwan).

This event, one of the most important conferences in its field, brought together over 600 experts who attended more than 160 scientific presentations and 40 workshops. The paper, entitled “Fast detection of EMC level drifts induced by aging using biased thermal step stress: Application to an AC input EMC filter”, proposes a method for efficiently identifying conducted emission drifts in power converters due to aging of EMC filter components.

Congratulations to him!
