Launch of the Robotics PEPR at LAAS-CNRS!
The new “Robotics” research program was launched on Tuesday, February 3, at LAAS-CNRS.
The new national research program dedicated to robotics, led by Philippe Souères, research director within the Gepetto team, was inaugurated on Tuesday, February 3, in Toulouse, at LAAS-CNRS, in the presence of Antoine Petit, CEO of CNRS.
Led by the CNRS and funded as part of France 2030, this ambitious program has a budget of €30 million over a period of six and a half years.
Developed with research and industrial partners, this program aims to promote advances in fundamental robotics research for concrete applications in various fields, from industry to services. It thus aims to create a new generation of robots eagerly awaited by industry.
