Didier El Baz, research within SARA team at LAAS-CNRS, received a 2023 Outstanding Contributions Award at the 20^th IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing - UIC 2023 wich held from august 28 to 31 in Portsmouth, UK.

He was awarded for contributions on outstanding leadership and services on IEEE Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing international conferences.

Didier's involvement includes program chair at UIC 2022 (China); general co-chair at UIC 2017 (San Francisco, USA); and general chair and local organizing chair at UIC 2016* (Toulouse, France).
