Mathieu Dario
đź‘‹ Who am I?
I am a CIFRE PhD student jointly supervised by LAAS-CNRS and Thales (Avionics) in Toulouse, since January 2025. My research topic is at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and system dependability. The goal: to improve the reliability of neural networks through runtime monitoring, with a concrete application in runway detection. As AI plays an increasingly significant role in embedded systems, ensuring their reliability is a key challenge —especially for safety in aeronautics. This project allows me to combine my interest in AI with my desire to contribute to safe and responsible innovation.
