First international communications!

Nicolas, Pierre and Lucien participated to international events and presented some OLYMPIA outputs!

Nicolas Mauran (LAAS) presented in Austin (Texas, USA) during the National Instruments Week (May 2017) the developments of the control system of the AFM set-up that will integrate the OLYMPIA optomechanical probes.

Pierre Allain (MPQ) gave an invited talk in Pyeongchang (Korea) during the Conference on Physics and Applications of Nanoelectronic and Nanomechanical Systems (August 2017). He presented the concept and first designs of high-frequency optomechanical sensors.

Lucien Schwab (LAAS) went to the 11th NAMIS school in Freiburg (Germany) in October 2017 where he had the opportunity to present his Ph.D. subject and recent achievements on Optomechanical Probes for an ultra-fast AFM.

Congrats!
