Marie Brut

Marie Brut is Associate Professor in Physics at the University of Toulouse. She conducts her research at LAAS-CNRS, where she leads the M3 (Multiscale Modeling of Materials) team. After a postdoctoral stay in the Computational Structural Biology lab of Michael Levitt at Stanford University, she joined LAAS-CNRS in 2011.
Her research focuses on the computational modeling of biomolecular systems, combining physics and physical chemistry to understand structure–activity relationships of molecules used as therapeutic targets or integrated into technological devices, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaborations.
