RESEARCH INTEREST

My group is interested in the use of nanomaterials in energy applications. Research primarily revolves around (1) the engineering of metal based nano-energetic materials. This includes exploring novel fuel and oxidizer assemblies for advanced pyrotechnical functionnalities. (2) Design and demonstrate new safe, smart and small pyrotechnical functions/systems. The group has a great expertise in micro/nanotechnologies to integrate these nanomaterials into MEMS to foster innovations.
