Laurent Malaquin

Laurent Malaquin is a researcher (DR2 CNRS) at LAAS CNRS and head of the ELiA team. LM started his carrier at CNRS in 2007 on the development of microfluidic device and Lab on Chips for bio analysis and diagnostic purposes. A large part of this work was focused on the pre-concentration, purification, and analysis of molecular biomarkers or rare circulating cells (CTCs). Since 2015 LM leads research project at LAAS-CNRS on the development of microphysiological systems for biomedical applications with a special focus on cellular microenvironment. LM uses his skills in micro and nano fabrication, 3D printing and bioprinting for the development of integrated devices devoted to biomarker analysis and 3D microenvironment models targeting tissue engineering applications. LM is co-founder of the Inorevia company (Paris, France).
