Yassine Ariba

Teaching

I hold a permanent position as associate professor (Maître de Conférences) at INSA Toulouse (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, in english : national institute of applied sciences) within the department GEI (Génie Electrique et Informatique, in  english : electrical and computer engineering). I teach mainly automatic control to the second and third year students of the IMACS (Ingénierie des Matériaux, Composants et Systèmes) program and to the fourth year student of the AESE (Automatique Électronique - Systèmes Embarqués) program.

For INSA students : most of my materials are available on the Moodle website : https://moodle.insa-toulouse.fr/

Below, few topics related to my teaching (more or less up to date...):

YouTube Channel : "Capsule Automatique"

With my colleague, Frédéric Gouaisbaut, we have also set up a YouTube channel with educational videos on automatic control. The channel is Capsules Automatique.

You will find below some of the materials used in various videos:

  • MATLAB livescript used in the video Initiation MATLAB pour l'automatique par espace d'état. Note that some functions require the Control System Toolbox, and may also depend on the version of MATLAB. For the video, we used version R2024a. However, the vast majority of the functions remain compatible with fairly old versions of the software.
  • MATLAB script used in the video "Plan de phase, principe et simulation sous MATLAB"
