Ruggero Lot receives a scholarship award from the French Embassy in Italy

Ruggero Lot, Italian PhD student in co-supervision between the M3 - Multi-scale Modeling of Materials Team from LAAS-CNRS, supervised by Anne Hemeryck, and the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati in Trieste, Italy, supervised by Stefano De Gironcoli, is the winner of the Cassini Junior Scholarship.

Awarded by the French Embassy in Italy which supports research between France and Italy.

With the help of this grant, Ruggero Lot will organize in the first half of 2020 a scientific workshop entitled "artificial intelligence in multi-scaling approaches for material science modeling".

The workshop will be devoted to the exchange of know-how and ideas on AI techniques applied to materials science, in a bilateral perspective France-Italy and in a friendly environment.
