Toulouse project ANITI shortlisted to become an interdisciplinary institute of artificial intelligence

Towards an interdisciplinary institute of artificial intelligence in Toulouse

The ANITI project, Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute, has been shortlisted by an international jury as part of the call for expressions of interest for the establishment of an interdisciplinary institutes network dedicated to artificial intelligence (3iA) . The ANITI project has been shortlisted as a result of the call for expressions of interest from the Villani report, launched as part of the National program in Artificial Intelligence research announced by the French President.

LAAS-CNRS is particularly involved in the project, Mohamed KAÂNICHE, head of the TSF Team, being its operational director. TSF is specialized in IT research, structured according to the four identified challenges highly related to AI topics: Mobility, Evolvability and autonomy, Openness, Reactivity.
