Jean-Paul Laumond elected at the french Académie des sciences

Jean-Paul Laumond, CNRS research director and roboticist in the Gepetto team has been elected member of the Academy of Sciences in the "Chemical, biological and medical sciences and their applications" division which includes "intersection of applications of science ". Jean-Paul thus joins the 272 other members of the Academy and will be received in May 2018 under the "Coupole" of the Institut de France during a solemn meeting.

Jean-Paul Laumond hold a Chair in Technological Innovation Lilianne Bettencourt at the Collège de France and laureate of a grant from the European Research Council for his project "Actanthrope: Exploring the Computational Foundations of Anthropomorphic Action".
