IMBIOC2020 - IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Biomedical Conference
The 2020 International Microwave Biomedical Conference (IMBioC 2020) will be held on Dec. 14-17, 2020
New dates :
The final manuscript uploading for accepted papers is postponed and will be possible from July 7 to July 31, 2020.
Registration will be possible starting Sept. 14, 2020.
Due to the situation imposed by the COVID19 virus and to preserve the safety of all, the 2020 International Microwave Biomedical Conference (IMBioC 2020) initially scheduled last May 25-28, 2020, is postponed to Dec. 14-17, 2020in the Hotel Mercure Compans Cafarelli, Toulouse, France. IMBioC is an international forum for the exchange of ideas and information on state-of-the-art research in microwave and RF theory and techniques that bridge the science and engineering gap as applied to biological systems. During the conference, some workshops and special sessions including Young Professionals (YP) and Women in Microwave (WiM) events will be organized, while an exhibition will be held simultaneously.
IMBioC 2020 will be held in Toulouse, the capital of Occitanie region and the France’s fourth largest city. Midway between the Atlantic coast and the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, and at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains, Toulouse occupies a privileged situation in the South-Western region of France.
Scope of the conference
The topics of IMBioC include (but are not limited to) the following technical areas:
- Biological and medical applications of microwave and RF systems
- Radar, imaging and sensor applications
- Pathological, physiological and biochemical studies with electromagnetic waves
- Remote monitoring and communications
- Other topics
There will be a special issue in the IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology (J-ERM) for the extended papers presented in the 2020 IMBioC. Please check the call for paper here or at http://ieee-jerm.org.
