Georges Giralt Conferences
This conference cycle is a tribute to Georges Giralt, scientific deputy of Jean Lagasse, the founding director of LAAS, who was an early recognized researcher in electronics, one of the pioneer of modern robotics, and knew how to encourage and to take the best advantage of this interdisciplinarity. The objective of the Georges Giralt Conferences is to invite key researchers to deliver open talks and to debate about challenging issues crossing the various domains of the lab. Each talk has an explicative part accessible by a broad audience. It lasts 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of questions. The talks are open and generally gathers a large audience from Toulouse research community.
