ARCAS project : flying robots in the spotlight

France (and LAAS) in charge of the 20th World Congress of the International Federation of Automatic Control

On 29 August, at the end of the 19th World Congress of the automatic, France took over the presidency of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) for 3 years. Toulouse will host the 20th World Congress of IFAC in 2017, with the support of the entire scientific community. LAAS-CNRS is heavily involved in managing the event, Dimitri Peaucelle (MAC team) being the chairman of the organizing committee.

Cooperation LAAS/Airbus

The Energie and Embedded Systems team (ESE) and the electronics workshop of LAAS-CNRS, institut Carnot, have designed and configured the electronic part of a system recovery and power management in extreme conditions installed in A321 flight tests. This system has powered a network of aerodynamic pressure sensors and a wireless transmission system.
