The Nanoscale communication shows for the first time that the optomechanical probes are capable to sense near-field forces when the probe tip interacts with the sample with a great sensitivity and bandwidth.
The IEEE TCST relates our last achievements in the field of digital signal processing to extend the bandwidth of the feedback loop of the AFM microscope for very-high-speed operation. We divides by ten the latency of the magnitude and phase demodulation of probe oscillation signal.
