L.A.M.P  Light assisted microfluidic printing

LAAS CNRS recently developed a multimaterial bioprinting platform that combines the advantages of microfluidics regarding the handling and delivery of small volume fraction of liquids with the resolution provided by laser lithography. This technology (patent filed) is compatible with both living cell and hydrogel material printing. It provides a unique opportunity of controlling both the 3D microenvironnement topology and recapitulating the 3D heterogeneity (cell distribution, matrix composition, mechanical properties) observed in living tissues .

Technical specifications :

  • Object size: 10 cm x 10 cm x 5 cm
  • Multimaterial (microfludic injection)
  • Matrix or cell printing
  • Targeted resolution X,Y : 20 µm
  • Targeted resolution Z : 5-500 µm
  • Laser wavelength : 405 nm

Applications :
