Smart Things Management (STM)

The Smart Things Management Project (STM) is a collaboration between the LAAS-CNRS and SRC Solution, a French company. This project is financed by the french State and aims to create new solutions to manage the objects of the IoT.
SRC solution’s commercial product: Pilot telecom, is a tool to manage phone lines and consumption as an enterprise point of view. As the IoT is becoming more important, the aim of the project is to work on a device management point of view to create a new solution that would allow to monitor the devices deployed and to avoid extra costs by having trouble with some devices and not noticing it for instance.

To such an end, we work around standards and existing solutions to contribute to improve them. For instance we work on standards such as oneM2M (high level standard) or the LWM2M (device management protocol).
