Abstract
We introduce a new identification method for nonlinear Volterra models of the form Hx = f(u, x) with H a causal convolution operator. It is mainly based on a suitable parameterization of H deduced from the so-called diffusive representation, devoted to state representations of integral operators. Following this approach, the complex dynamic nature of H can be summarized by a few numerical parameters on which the identification of the dynamic part of the model will focus. For illustration, we implement this method on a concrete numerical example.

Résumé
On introduit une nouvelle méthode d'identification pour les modèles de Volterra non linéaires, dans lesquels interviennent des opérateurs convolutifs causaux. Cette méthode repose essentiellement sur la paramétrisation des opérateurs en jeu, obtenue au moyen de la représentation diffusive. Selon cette approche, la nature complexe des opérateurs de convolution peut être résumée par quelques paramètres numériques sur lesquels se focalise l'identification de la partie dynamique du modèle. A titre d'illustration, cette méthode est mise en oeuvre en simulation numérique sur un modèle concret.
