AIPS02 Student Scholarships


 

Two types of student scholarships have been awarded:


AAAI/Planet AIPS02 Student Scholarship


American Association for Artificial Intelligence

European Network of Excellence in AI Planning

 

PLANET, the European Network of excellence for AI Planning, and AAAI, the American Association for Artificial Intelligence, are offering student scholarships to attend AIPS 2002. The award will cover up to 1000 Euros in expenses towards attending the conference in Toulouse, France. Covered expenses may include the conference registration, cost of airline tickets, lodging,other travel expenses.

AIPS Scholarships funded by PLANET and by AAAI had a wide success.We received 32 applications that oversubscribed four times the initial
scholarship budget! Fortunately, we have been able to extend our budget, mainly from PLANET.

NASA/RIACS AIPS02 Student Scholarship

Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science

NASA Ames Research Center and the Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science (RIACS) invite applications for student scholarships to attend AIPS 2002. The award will cover up to US$2500.00 in expenses towards attending the conference in Toulouse, France. Covered expenses may include the conference registration, cost of airline tickets, lodging, other travel expenses, and subsistence as per US Govt. rules and regulations listed at http://policyworks.gov/org/main/mt/homepage/mtt/perdiem/travel.shtml.
