A reliable model for Internet traffic is needed in order to guarantee the QoS of traffic flows in IP networks. One of the main goals of our future research will be to develop a global model of Internet traffic, taking into account not only how TCP allocates bandwidth to concurrent network flows, but also the random user activity. Such a model should also enable to evaluate the end-to-end performances of traffic flows through heterogeneous interconnected networks, from the user terminal (wired or wireless) up to the service and the computers providing it.

Based on the ARSys project results, a new DGA (REI) project has been designed for 2008 with the industrial DSI. Three other projects are being negotiated in this sector : integrated SONAR processing (DGA); autonomous GPS reception with low signal to noise ratio (Thales Avionics); guidance system for heavy torpedoes (DCNS).
