The computing and instrumentation service is placed under the LAAS Director responsibility. It provides a technical support for the research projects and for all equipment, network & computer system, for the whole laboratory.

• Support the research projects:
  
  It is defined each year by a committee chaired by LAAS  Director. It aims at computing, instrumentation, electronics, optics, and mechanics domains.
  
• Equipment, network & computer system administration :
  
  The service manages the computing means of the laboratory, the electronics and mechanics workshops, and also provides management and technical support for the platforms : characterization, robots, networks, and design.
