Amit Kumar Pandey finalist of the 2013 Georges Giralt PhD Award His PhD thesis, defended at LAAS in June 2012: "Towards Socially Intelligent Robots in Human Centered Environment", has been selected as one of the three best theses in robotics in Europe.

Launching SPOT, seminars on Optimization Inspired by the FIOS of the University of Toronto and the SPO at the Henri Poincare Institute in Paris, the SPOT (Pluridisciplinary Optimization Seminar in Toulouse) seminar will run monthly, with two talks of different type. Next SPOT on March 18th.
