Death of Georges Grateloup. Director of LAAS-CNRS from 1977 to 1980, Georges Grateloup passed away on August 5, 2014 at the age of 83 years. It was one of the first directors of the Laboratory, succeeding at this position to Jean Lagasse and Henri Martinot.
Yves Deswarte, Directeur de Recherche at LAAS-CNRS, passed away on Monday 27th January 2014. The Dependable Computing and Fault Tolerance research group at LAAS-CNRS (TSF) has lost one of its most prominent researchers on dependable and secure computing. Yves has been a pioneer in computer security at LAAS-CNRS, and a renowned researcher both in France and worldwide.Read more...
